Woke up this morning after trying the newest addition to our Biodance collection, the Purple PDRN Mask, my skin’s properly hydrated and glowing. But while everyone’s talking about Biodance, we like to follow not just the trend but the science too.
That’s why the CKD Retino Collagen Mask is hands-down the only one I'd take to a desert island. The Chong Kun Dang Group has been in pharmaceutical R&D for over 80 years, with partnerships across Switzerland and the US and its own raw material plants which is exactly why the ingredients here are a cut above. The hydrogel itself is thick, dense, and holds its shape. Having visited their factories and met the team myself, this is the mask I keep coming back to for that fantastic glow and grade-A ingredients.
It's like your go-to shoe, everyone's got one! Done and dusted, an all-time favourite.
For me, I keep coming back to the C Moju. It uses fermented rice serum, one of those Asian ingredients that brightens and hydrates at the same time. The mask itself isn't cotton, it's micro-fibre, softer and more luxurious against the skin. Fifteen to twenty minutes, and I'm left patting in a fantastic serum before heading out the door.If some of you have noticed this one has turned up twice in your monthly box, that's not a mix-up. I genuinely can’t part with it!
Best part, I also keep recommending it to others. Developed by the true love of a husband, for his wife when she got pregnant with their child, and her skin type changed. He created this mask for her. (Plus he’s also a very famous Korean make-up artist). Suitable for all, including sensitive skin, anti-ageing, hormonal balance. It's my go-to mask! Please just keep it within our Mask Lover’s community though, I secretly don't want us selling out!
Our own Microneedle Patches! I try all sorts of things, but this one sounded kind of painful - so it sat in our office for a long time before I finally had to try our own formulation. I'll admit, I was skeptical.
And then I was wrong, really wrong. Just like we promise, the needles didn’t hurt, and the way they actually penetrate when applied correctly under the eyes was almost addictive. I ended up doing 3 days in a row which is what we recommend if you want to maximize results. Afterwards, there it was: my eye area looked plumper, with more volume, dark circles noticeably lighter, and the finest lines starting to fade.
The best part for me? Only five ingredients: hyaluronic acid, collagen, and adenosine (a naturally occurring compound that helps smooth skin), plus two brilliant peptides that works to rejuvenate the under-eye area.
